Key Responsibilities

Financial Liaison: Serve as the primary intermediary between consultants and the accounting team to ensure seamless data flow and process alignment.

Data Validation: Meticulously verify all consultant-generated invoices and booking data against internal systems, specifically Tourplan, to maintain data hygiene.

System Management: Oversee the accurate loading of validated invoices into the accounting system, ensuring all entries reflect real-time operational activity.

Complex Reconciliations: Perform detailed, high-volume reconciliations across supplier invoices, client files, and internal bookings to safeguard against financial leakage.

Discrepancy Resolution: Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve financial inconsistencies by collaborating directly with the consulting team.

Process Optimisation: Support the broader team in refining operational workflows to reduce manual errors and improve overall turnaround times.

Record Integrity: Maintain secure, organised, and up-to-date electronic financial records in compliance with organisational standards.

Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric with a strong foundation in Mathematics and Accounting.

2–3 years of proven experience in a dedicated finance, administration, or reconciliation-heavy role.

Strong computer literacy, with specific expertise in Google Workspace and Microsoft Excel.

Demonstrated ability to maintain meticulous attention to detail and accuracy while managing high workloads under pressure.

Highly organised with the discipline to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fully remote setup.

Professional and proactive verbal and written communication skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications

A relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Previous experience within the travel or tourism sector.
